Get Well Network/Video

Nemours’ KidsHealth has created the largest library of pediatric education videos available. The KidsHealth Video Library is available at the patient bedside through the GetWellNetwork (GWN) at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital and Nemours Children’s Hospital and online for use by all Nemours clinicians and families.

The KidsHealth Video Library contains more than 200 videos for parents, kids, and teens in English and Spanish with new videos added regularly. Each video features real families sharing the actual experience. Additionally, each program’s key messages are reinforced in companion educational one-sheets that can be printed and distributed by clinicians. KidsHealth created these award-winning videos with Nemours advisory teams composed of physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers.

Inpatient Access

Nemours’ inpatient families can view KidsHealth videos through GetWellNetwork three ways:

  1. Self-serve: Families go to the Movie Theater section and click on Health & Safety Movies.
  2. Via on-screen prompts: Nemours clinicians can “order” specific videos for patients. When you “order” videos, the patient/family will recieve onscreen prompts to watch each video you have ordered. For instructions on how to order videos through Epic, visit Nemour’s University for the latest step-by-step guide.
  3. Together with you: Nemours clinicians can easily access the videos they’ve ordered for a specific patient while in the patient’s room by clicking on the Staff button from the Menu. This is a great choice if you would like to use the video while you are in the patient’s room.

Patient Home Access

Nemours patients, and families can view the entire video library via the KidsHealth video link within MyNemours.
